three.

You know, some days are overwhelming and exhausting. this weekend felt like that, going by so fast without giving me a chance to take in any of it. do you ever feel that way?
Sunday, we made a day of it at the park, you know to celebrate the cooler weather that finally decided to show.
And guess what i realized then? i'm blessed threefold.

I get three smiles. three hugs. three smoochy kisses. three stories of how the day went. three sets of ideas. three night and day personalities that I'm so desperately trying to accomodate. three different levels of tantrums-Lord help me! three different preferences for dinner, for which I pray a personal chef shows up at my door one day.

three sets of eyes that watch me closely. three sets of ears that hear what I say. three hearts that are impacted by my actions. three voices that tell me I am loved.

three little bears that i love to the moon and back and wouldn't trade for the world. overwhelming as some days may be, I am truly, truly blessed.

Ahhh, I felt your words!
Don't you just love it when you can be having a regular day and then WHAM its like the cover gets torn off your eyes and you get a pure glimpse into what your blessings are. I love when that happens.
Your pictures on this post made me so thankful you have those sweet kiddos LOL!
They are adorable.

I love this so much. I have been having those days that seem to go by too fast and I love it when life just slows down. Sometimes I have to force it to...and those are the moments that are really the best! You have such cute kids, by the way!

What beautiful blessings they are. And good on you for realizing it in the moment, that's not always so very easy to do. =)

Just stopping by from The Wiegand's, sweet Casey's blog, to personally invite you to join me for An Aloha Affair; a sort of end of week gathering and mingling and growing together. I'd love to have ya, stop by anytime...

LeahJo, what a sweet portrayal of motherhood! Thank you so much for linking up this month for Thanksliving. Being a mom, in all its good and challenging, is truly something to be thankful for! Thanks for the perspective of gratitude for our kids. I think it's easy to lose in the day-to-day. Have a great weekend.

I agree Leslie. it is very easy to lose that, and I struggle with remembering that all the time. hope you have a great weekend yourself!
