hurrr.

okay, so truth be told: i am not a high maintenance kind of girl. 'tis true. ask the husband. he takes longer to get ready than i do! when it comes to hair i usually have it styled one of two ways, down with waves or on a top bun. that gets boring quick.
if  i feel a pep in my step, i dab on some lipstick and put a little more effort into it. cue the easy side braid bun.
(please bear with the pictures. seven year olds do not come with stellar photography skills.)

nothing to it really and nothing too fancy, just something to vary things up. and my hurrr is happy.

ps. come back tomorrow, i'll have an announcement of something new going on. not baby related...sorry.

thank you christine! once you get the hang of french braiding, you'll be able to do it diagonally. there has to be youtube videos on french braiding though. =)

Lovely 'do! My hair is too soft and fine to do elaborate (or, well, any...) up dos. But I sure admire them on others!

i have that problem with my daughter's hair. she asked that i do it on hers and it was so hard, i found that dabbing it with some coconut oil kinda kept her hair together enough for me to be able to complete it.
